FAQs
What are your credentials?
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker [LCSW] in the state of Illinois and a DONA-certified Birth Doula [(CD)DONA].
I’m also trained in Spinning Babies, EMDR, and Perinatal Mental Health by PSI.
What services do you offer?
I currently offer labor & birth doula support — which includes support prenatally, all of labor, and postpartum.
I’m working on expanding my services to include perinatal counseling support. Check back here on my website for updates or complete the Contact Form and I can add you to my mailing list!
What is your service area?
The Western Suburbs of Chicago, including, but not limited to: Warrenville, Wheaton, West Chicago, Winfield, Naperville, St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Oswego, Aurora, North Aurora, Glen Ellyn, Lombard, Carol Stream, Downers Grove, and Lisle.
I support women who give birth in all settings — midwife-attended home births, hospitals, and birth centers.
Where are you based?
Based out of my hometown of Warrenville, IL -- I love spending time with my husband and our 4 children. Drop in on our lives and you'll most likely find us playing in the backyard, speaking Spanglish, and eating my husband's freshly baked bread.
How did you get in to birth work?
I fell in love with birth after having my first baby at home. While working as a community-based youth & family mental health therapist and school social worker, I had my second home birth. Wanting others to have empowering and beautiful birth experiences, I attended DONA's doula training with my 2-month-old baby in my arms and haven’t turned back since!
What type of births have you had?
My first 3 babies were born at home with midwives, while my 4th baby threw us all for a loop and cannonballed into the world being born breech. For that birth, we traveled across state lines to a hospital where they support physiological breech birth.
I’d love to connect
with you.
